Coup makers get revenged

The Thai government is giving coup makers who disposed ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinnawatra an investigation on irregular budgets.

Agenda was purposed by the Saturday Voice Against Dictatorship, an anti-coup group, in calling for an investigation of spending oddities.

The Prime Minister Office responded at once by sending a copy of the complaint to Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej for his consideration.

A souce said Mr. Samak, also a Defense Minister, has options both to take action or turning a blind eye.

The coup makers, led by Gen Sonthi Boonyaratkalin, who retired September last year, were accused of seeking financial gain during in power.
