Yontrakit is on the right track

Vichien Leenutapong, president and chairman at Yontrakit Group, one of Thailand’s largest automotive capitalist groups, said the company is on the right track in diversifying its product portfolio into wider range of market segments.

Yontrakit’s introduction of wide range of auto vehicles and brands at the Motor Expo 2008 was successful with 415 vehicles sold.

It currently sells various types of vehicle in seven brands, including Audi, Citroen, Kia, Mitsuoka, Naza, and Polarsun and Chery from China.

The last two brands introduced recently have received highly positively response from the market, according to a market study.

He said the Chinese minivan is increasing in popularity amongst the company’s target group of customer, indicating it has done a good homework on marketing strategy.
