Kapook.com plans listing on MAI
Thai-language internet portal Kapook.com will file for a listing of its common shares with the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) in 2009 to raise 20 million baht in capital.
The company will become Thailand’s second internet venture company to list in the stock exchange.
Kapook reported total earnings of 34 million baht in 2007 from three core businesses consisting of website advertising, marketing solutions, and enterprise Internet solutions, as well as other added value services.
The new capital gaining through the activity will be used in the company’s infrastructure expansion and the development of mobile and web applications for the third-generation mobile phone services.
The company has set share price range between 0.25 and 0.5 baht per share.
