More businesses registered, Commerce says

There are 4,321 new more businesses registered for a startup during June 2010, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce.

Commerce Minister Alongkorn Pholbuth said the clear political stabilization has boosted the mood for investment and conduct more business activities, pushing up businesses registration by 23.0 percent comparing with May, which entering into a chaotic political period, and 19.0 percent higher than the same month a year ago.

The total investment registration for the month was 33.16 billion baht.

Top five new registered businesses involved construction, finance and banking, electricity production, scientific research, and real property management.
