Automobile distributor Yontrakit said it is mulling the production of Japanese’s Mitsuoka sport car in Thailand.

President of the company Soravit Leenutpong said that the production would be for export markets. Yontrakit is studying the possibility to use its idled assembly factory in Lat Krabang district to produce Mitsuoka cars.

However, he declined to release further details about joint venture with the Japanese automaker.
