Isuzu ranked top brand in recent J.D. Power customer satisfaction poll

Isuzu brand received the top score in a recent Thailand Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) survey conducted by J.D. Power Asia Pacific.

The marketing research house said it has asked 3,083 respondents who purchased new vehicles during August 2008 through March 2009 on their impressive experiences in delivery, price negotiation, and documentation preparation and so on.

Given the possible top score of 1,000, Isuzu received 879 from the survey, Toyota garnered 877 and Mazda got 876.

Toyota remained the top brand for another year in term of standard accessories and comfort components.

Some 70 percent of respondents said they would pass on this dealer’s impressive experiences to the people close to them.

“A higher score indicates the wider spreading in word of mount marketing,” said Loic Peon, a manager at J.D. Power Thailand. “This may help more people making decision easier in returning or visiting to the showroom.”

He said a study also shows that problem reports have been decreased significantly from a previous year due to dealers’ continuous attempt in improvement their sales services.
