BMW Group Thailand introduced the BMW Premium Selection (BPS) package to the market in 2004 with a remarkable sale record that accounted for 15 per cent of its annual sale figure.
With a dramatic achievement, Krisda Utamote, general manager for sales who is in charge of the program, said that expansion has been told to go ahead.
With the green light from directors’ board, BMW will implement the program at its dealerships nationwide. Time frame is scheduled by 2009.
BMW hopes to see an annual sale of BPS cars to rise by 17 per cent in 2008 and more in the following years.
“We aim to deliver the premium quality vehicles that buyers would pay their check with peace of mind,” said Krisda.
He said that BMW cars under the package will have less than seven years in market or less than 100,000 km of mileage. They will also pass strictly 72-technical points tested and are covered with 24-month warranty or 40,000 km of use and round-the-clock roadside assistance offer.
The implementation of the program outside Bangkok will begin in 2008 at BMW dealerships in large provinces including Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Phuket, Hat Yai and Chol Buri.
