Krungthai Bank (KTB)’s quarterly profit was four times higher than a year earlier, helped by much lower provision expenses. The state-run lender said on Monday its net profits was 3.67 million baht, or 0.33 baht per share above 825 million baht profit a year earlier. However, the bank out look is still gloomy, hurt by political unrest that threatened the economic growth, analysts said.
