Tisco Bank reported a 9 per cent fall in the third-quarter profit of 397 million baht ($11.87 million), down from 440.22 million baht a year earlier, or 0.49 baht per share from 0.54 baht per share of the same period last year due to slower loan growth.

The bank said, however, its 9-month profit of 2008 increased 7.65 per cent to 1.64 baht per share from the corresponding period last year.
