Bangkok is Thailand’s capital city and cultural center. It has been a peaceful  spot where people of the four regions, comprised of the North; the Northeast; the South and the Central, live and practice their ingenuous cultures and lores harmoniously altogether.

Bangkok’s main business street is Silom, which its U.S. counterparts is New York’s Wall Street. Silom is also an entertainment and fashion centers located next to Bangkok’s most notorious red light district of Patpong. Luxury restaurants and hotels spruce on the either sides of the three-kilometer avenue reminisce  of London’s Soho.

In those skyscrapers locate top Thai conglomerates and international companies. It is in adjacent to the Wireless Street where located the Stock Exchange of Thailand.

Commutation to Silom regards as the most convenient part of the city. Million of commuters get there everyday through Skytrain and subway for work. Travelers always find it charms to get Silom by boats through the Chaophraya River. Bangkok’s notorious motored rickshaw drivers know every inch of the avenue.  There have been street shutter bus service and direct rail link from Bangkok’s new airport Suvarnabhumi to Silom, which is undergone construction.
